Our
staff represents and assures the enduring strength of both WEL and
Truck Claims. Our Employee of the Year recognizes outstanding contribution
to us, you and our industry. This year we are proud to honor Shelia
Hughes our 2004 Bernard C. Brook Employee of the Year.
As Senior Underwriter in charge of our Non Fleet Renewals, Shelia
is familiar to almost all of our retailers. It is wonderful to report
to you that her leadership is responsible for a noticeable, almost
dramatic, improvement in our quotation consistency and renewal retention.
By any definition we are beyond pleased with Shelia’s underwriting
skill, attention to detail, and friendly manner with our customers.
She provides excellent feedback to her supervisors and good hands
on training to her assistant, Eric Hicks. The constant praise we
receive from our underwriting staff and our retail agents with regard
to Shelia’s handling of renewal matters ands concerns is gratifying.
Shelia’s co-workers applaud her helpful, pro-active and unflappable
nature. Consistently offering help to others without being asked
combined with always going beyond that which is required (and each
with a warm smile) are repeated compliments.
Shelia’s co-workers, Dad and I express to her our sincere
appreciation for going beyond the extra mile. We’re pleased
to extend to her and her family some extra vacation time at The
Olde English Tudor Inn in Gatlinburg, TN. Shelia, please relax,
shop, and let us appreciate how much you do for all of us while
you’re away.
